The independent national commmission responsible for collection of evidence indicating the role of the French State in the genocide that was perpetrated in Rwanda in 1994 informs the public that it will resume its public hearings of witnesses from 11 to 19 December 2006.
The Commission will hear factual witnesses, those who declare to have been actors, victims or direct witnesses of the actions taken by agents of the French State before, during and after the genocide.
The venue for the public hearings is the conference hall near the Prime Minister's office from 8h 30 am to 5 pm.
